VADirectory – a list for experienced VAs too

It came to my notice yesterday that many think the VA Network I own and manage, “A Clayton’s Secretary” is for new VAs only and that experienced VAs cannot join.  I was so upset when I heard this as that has never been the message I’ve been putting across and I want to correct it here and now.

Otherwise known as VADirectory.net the VA network has been running since April 1996 and is for any and all VAs, providing they have a minimum 5 years previous office experience.  The directory was established to assist clients to find VAs suitable for the work they had to be done, and also to help introduce VAs to clients.  We have a discussion forum and many membership benefits, including a webpage that is set up for each individual member.

My apologies to those who have thought that the site is only for new VAs to help them get established. I have no idea how that idea was conveyed and I’m grateful that I’ve been told by a VA that’s why she didn’t join – she thought the site wasn’t for her.  I wonder how many other potential members haven’t joined for that very reason?

Our longest term member has been with us since 1997 and we have many VA members who are well experienced on the team.

Another thing that might have potential VA members thinking is the way I use the word ‘team’.  I’ve always referred to the network in that fashion as I like to think of us all as a team in the network but by no means should this disqualify any VA wanting to join our network.  So, if you’re looking to join a well established and long-term VA network why not consider us today?

Regarding new VAs – I do have a training course that was designed for brand new VAs and this can be found at www.vatrainer.com.
