Good admin skills? Then take a step in faith

I love reading stories of those who have gained the confidence to step out in faith and begin work as a Virtual Assistant.

When I began it was out of desperation to be home for my family of 5 daughters. I struggled with managing a job, family, home, kids’ activities and so on. Working from home took out of the equasion traveling to and fro to a job each day (wasted time), having to account for any time off that I requested, not being available to my children (and husband) fulltime and instead of managing my family around a workload I was able to manage a workload around my family. A massive difference.

If you have good administration skills and good computer skills and find that your current lifestyle isn’t all you had hoped it would be, then perhaps you need to have faith in yourself and take a step forward – into the world of Virtual Assistance. Google will show you thousands of references and if you connect with 2 or 3 of the VA networks out there, you’ll learn much from those who are already working in this way. It’s a definite change in lifestyle and frequently an eye-opener as to what you are personally capable of.

you’re right. With the recession coupled with our domestic responsibilities, it is indeed hard to meet to our financial needs. And for us mothers, being a VA has provided a chance to support our family & spend time with them
