Your webinar this morning was fantastic. Your enthusiasm for what you do was palpable. I was inspired and indeed motivated plus I just simply enjoyed listening to your content and delivery.

You did things that I would have thought everyone on the pedestal would have done, but they don’t. I am more keen than ever to deliver my speech now, as I feel I have seen how it can be done and done well, thank you.

As someone who loves to write also, I am pumped and ready to blog and that too is inspired by your presentation.

So again Kathie, thank you. I must away now as I have to start thinking of blogging ideas … lol

Hi, Welcome to April, and this month's edition of ACS News.

I hope you're keeping well. I've succumbed to a cold or flu virus so keeping inside and resting a lot at the moment.

Below you'll find information on our new look site, providing surveys for your business and a wrap up for the AustraliaVAConference.

Welcome to all new readers and of course to our long-term regulars as well.

Sincerely,
Kathie M. Thomas

    New Look Site

Well, it's been awhile coming. For years I changed or updated the look of my main website around Christmas every year, so it had a fresh new look at the beginning of each year. And then I was happy with the look and it probably stayed there for 3-4 years. However, as with everything else, websites and blogs tend to go through fashionable looks as technology improves and trends change.

My old site was almost 500 pages in size (don't faint) and badly needed a revamp. With our growing VA network each member has their own profile page (which is why it's so big) it made sense to install software where they can update their own profiles as they see fit. So, enter the new look!

Does your site need an update? If it's built in the standard way many sites are you may not have the ability to login and update it as you wish. However, using Wordpress that is achievable and that's the very thing I'm doing for my site - converting from html to a Wordpress site. A lot of work now but much easier for updating later, including giving it a whole new look just with the click of a button any time I feel like it If this is something that appeals to you then why not contact me for details?

Surveys

Last month I mentioned the survey I'm doing on women mentoring women and I've been so thrilled with the response. The survey is still open if you missed the opportunity to participate. This is research for a new book I'm hoping to publish late in the year.

Have you ever thought you'd like to do a survey? Perhaps your clients, readers, club members, others but didn't know where to start or how to do it?

Surveys can help you quantify information (produced in chart form), verify thoughts and feelings, let you know what others are thinking of your services, products or events and so on.

If you need help setting up a survey (and customising it with your business logo) then why not contact me for information?

Regards,

Kathie

Australian VA Conference

The Australian VA Conference was a great success and I want to thank everyone involved. The delegates helped make it happen and the presenters and our MCs were fantastic. The room was constantly buzzing with excitement and laughter and it's been confirmed that AVAC will now be on the annual calendar. But first I'm having a break for a month or two to get my breath back (and catch up with other things), before getting back into the planning and preparation again. I took lots of notes about things I'd like to do next year, and will let you all know when we place a call for presenters and sponsors.

VA Coaching Club

Launched late last year, the VA Coaching Club is for those who feel they would like some mentoring and guidance along the way as they build their VA business. Regular teleclasses on a monthly basis, the opportunity to chat with other club members and member discounts and freebies available. Sign up at the VACoachingClub website.

Teleclasses

The VACC mentioned above has monthly teleclasses and many of the topics shared will be of interest to those outside of the coaching club. So why not drop by our webinar schedule and see what interests you? There is a charge of $10 for attendance for non VACC members. This month's session is for VACoachingClub members only and will be a Q&A time.
